Penal Code Section 396
Gang-robbery with murder
396. If any one of two or more persons, who are conjointly committing gang-robbery, commits murder in so committing gang-robbery, every one of those persons shall be punished with death or imprisonment for a term which may extend to *thirty years, and, where the punishment is not death, shall also be liable to whipping.
