Strata Management Updates 16 – Parcel Rent will take into effect in KL and Perak from 1.1.2020

The Minister of Water, Land and Natural Resources has determined that Parcel Rent will take effect in the Stratafied Development Areas in Kuala Lumpur and state of Perak from 1.1.2020. The gazette is enclosed below.

This will remove the onus on the Joint Management Body and Management Corporation to apportion and collect quit rent. Parcel rent will be issued directly by the respective local authorities.
